The Cleveland Two Horsebox range

Designed to carry 2 horses on the smaller chassis of 3.5ton, our compact transport box is a popular choice for racehorse trainers, transport companies and stud farms as well as the private individual. Convenient and easy to park and travel, as well as being a cost effective unit.

The new style Cleveland Two Transporter can give up to a 1080kg carrying capacity which we have demonstrated on a Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI 3.5ton chassis, proving to becoming a very popular compact transport box for Trainers.

Horses face backwards with impact wall, the aluminium honey-combed centre partition also can be moved for mare & foal stalling; CCTV with monitor to cab, rear jockey door and a releasing breast barrier. Saddle poles, with bridle and coat hooks. Aluminium plank flooring overlaid with soft walk rubber matting, ramp guide doors and a head divider all as standard.

We are now also offering the funnel style of travelling for the horses which means that there is no breast barrier as the horses stand in a funnel with mesh head guards and dividers, this is a continental proven method which transporters recommend and are now using.

Being rated at 3500kg, this can be driven on a standard car licence, otherwise anyone wishing to drive a vehicle greater than 3.5ton will now have to take an additional test. The 3.5ton vehicle is currently MOT’d under a Class 7 testing station, and does not need an MOT until 3years old from new. Please understand you can not have any living on a 3.5ton due to payload capacities.
