Expanding on Equi-Trek’s hugely successful range of horse trailers and smaller horseboxes the next stage was for them to develop a (3 horse) 7.5 ton horsebox with an integral living area.

Equi-Trek state they can get up to a 2750kg carrying capacity by using light-weight, weight saving materials. It has a high standard of owners living accommodation, comfortable travel for horses and a basic tilt cab. This box is built on brand-new Izuzu N75 chassis which is a light-weight chassis. The Izuzu is the only truck manufacturer with a 3year unlimited mileage guarantee, complies with the latest Euro4 emissions, optional easy to use automatic gearbox, 190bhp and low chassis height.

The horse area has alloy planking floor overlaid with rubber, with 3-breast lockers, 3-stall partitions with head dividers, 3-tie-up rings, and hay-net rings, various ventilation windows and interior lights.

The living accommodation fitted as standard has upholstered seating, sleeping for up to four people, removable table, gas hob, sink with electric water supply, storage cupboards, drawer & wine rack. Wardrobes, ventilation skylight, windows, lights, mirror, leisure battery, access door with folding step, integral aperture through to the cab. Further optional extras include: TV/DVD player, fridge, microwave, warm air heating, water heater and more. The WC compartment has facilities to take your optional choices of items such as flushing WC or Porta-Potti, wash & vanity unit, show cubicle.

The vehicle come standard in gloss white finish, with graphite graphic trim, but can be painted to any of the colour options or your RAL colour and additional personalised or corporate logos at an additional cost.
