We take great pride in having constructed a second JSW Ryedale Racehorse Transport Box for the esteemed Top Race Horse Trainer Mark Johnston Racing. This remarkable horsebox, featuring 7 stalls, has been meticulously designed to meet the specific needs of the traveling team. Built on a brand new Mercedes Atego.

Constructed with aluminum planking, this design is ahead of it’s game.  It’s a bye, bye to the delamination of GRP (laminated plywood).  Offers superior strength compared to plywood inner cored materials.  This design ensuring that the box can support not only the weight of the herringbone stall partitions but is also robust enough to endure the daily rigors of transporting bloodstock.

Equipped with ‘type approved’ seating for traveling staff, this box was constructed with full Government type approval. Unlike many UK horsebox manufacturers who fail to grasp the current regulations and continue to convert bread vans, leaving purchasers unaware of what they are actually receiving.

We have even encountered some companies claiming on social media, that their bulkhead walls are Government Type Approved. Where such approval does not exist, merely to circumvent the ‘Chop and Shut’ parcel van converters.

It is essential to remain vigilant, as numerous manufacturers who have only been in the industry for a short time are now marketing themselves as reputable horsebox builders. We have witnessed many of them come and go in the last 60years!
